někdy v 15. století byl v Trokách v tehdejším Litevském
velkoknížectví zvěřinec velkoknížete Vytautase či Vitolda (1414 o něm referuje vlámský cestovatel Guillebert de Lannoy). V oploceném parku byla místní divoká
zvířata - medvědi, zubři, tarpani, obrovští koně nebo osli,
losi, jeleni, divočáci, nějací ptáci a další zvířata. O zvěřinci
píše i Habsburský diplomat Siegmund von Herberstein v knize
Rerum Moscoviticarum commentarii, která vyšla 1549. Herberstein
zmiňuje i sjagy.
sometimes in the 15th century, a menagerie of Grand Duke Vytutas was in Troki in then
Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Flemish traveller Guillebert de Lannoy
referred about that in 1414). In the fenced park were local wild
animals - bears, wisents, tarpans, giant horses or donkeys,
elks, deer, wild boar, some birds and other animals. Also
Habsburg diplomat Sigisimund von Herberstein wrote about the
menagerie in the book Rerum Moscoviticarum comentarii, which was
published in 1549. Herberstein mentions also saiga antelopes. |
