při stavbě Nové Káhiry - nového města v bývalé poušti byly vybrány 4
různé projekty (ze 14ti) - jeden z nich je projekt největšího Safari
parku na Středním východě. Píše se doslova "nová éra safari parků začíná
právě zde"...!!! Skutečně monstrózní, grandiózní projekt, který nemá
obdoby... Areál o velikosti 800 fedanů (336 ha) ve vádí Degla při
dálnici z Káhiry k Suezu na okraji Nové Káhiry... Téměř přes celý park
se táhne futuristická budova ve tvaru kobry - s hlavou na okraji vádí
(údolí vytvořené občasným tokem). Tady park končí, ale patří k němu
ještě menší část na druhém břehu vádí - proto had vyplazuje jazyk přes
údolí, přičemž jazyk hada je tvořen lanovkou. Moderní architektura 21.
století inspirovaná ve Starověkém Egyptě.
Park je členěn do několika částí - Savana Safari (12,28 ha), Zóna
býložravců (10,54 ha), Zóna masožravců (15, 73 ha), Krokodýlí bažina (2
ha), Opičí ostrov (3 ha), Akvárium (0,6 ha) - vše dostupné auty,
skupinovými vozidly nebo horkovzdušnými balóny... Ledacos i jako stezka
s průvodcem. Zázemí Safari parku: veterinární institut (0,66 ha),
veterinární nemocnice (0,21 ha), škola zoologie (0,26 ha), výzkumné
a chovné centrum (0,6 ha), vědecká knihovna (1 ha)... Doplňkové a
komerční části: "věčně zelené údolí" (0,83 ha), "život v Africe" -
vesnice Zuluů, Masajů a Staroegyptská (5,57 ha nebo víc), nákupní
střediska (2 ha), restaurace (0,2 ha), hotely (12,88 ha - jen dva
největší), jeskyní lázně (0,6 ha) a spousta dalších... (viz. níže).
Informací o čase plánované realizace chybí - v angličtině, podle jednoho
údaje v arabštině je smlouva podepsána a realizace by měla začít v roce
2013.

grandiose project, which is unprecedented... The area of size 800
feddans (336 ha) in the Degli wadi, beside the highway from Cairo to
Suez, on the outskirts of New Cairo... A futuristic building in the
shape of a cobra stretches almost across the whole park - with his head
on the edge of the wadi (valley created by occasional stream). The park
ends here, but even smaller part on the other side of the wadi belong to
it - so that the snake is sticking out one's tongue over the valley,
where the snake tongue is formed by a cableway. Modern architecture of
the 21st century inspired in Ancient Egypt.
The park is divided into several parts - Savannah Safari (12.28 ha),
Zone of herbivores (10.54 ha), Zone of carnivores (15.73 ha), Crocodile
Swamp (2 ha), Monkey Island (3 ha), Aquarium (0.6 ha) - all accessible
by car, by group vehicles or hot-air balloons... Something also a guided
walk. Background of the Safari Park: veterinary institute (0.66 ha),
veterinary hospital (0.21 ha), zoology school (0.26 ha), research and
breeding centre (0.6 ha), scientific library (1 ha) .. . Complementary
and commercial parts: "ever green valley" (0.83 ha), "Life in Africa"
- Zulu, Masai, and Ancient Egypt villages (5.57 ha or more), shopping
malls (2 ha), restaurants (0.2 ha), hotels (12.88 ha - the two largest
only), spa cave (0.6 ha) and much more ... (see below).
Information about the time of planned implementation is missing - in
English, according to one Arabic entry the contract has been already
signed and the implementation should to begin in 2013.

vědecká knihovna, lunapark, vesnice Masajů, Zuluů a Egyptského
kulturního dědictví, dokonce i železniční stanice, benzínové pumpy,
mešita atd.
