král Munmu z dynastie Silla zřídil velké umělé jezero Anapji
(dnes se používá Weolji, což je zřejmě původní název) s rozlohou 15.656
m2 a třemi ostrůvky pro divoké vodní ptáky a okolo něj menažerii s
exotickými ptáky a savci. Areál Imhaejon Donggung, kde je jezero Anapji,
patřilo v době tzv. Tří království Koreje a později Sjednocené Silly ke
královskému paláci Banwolseong (též Wolseong palác), ačkoli dnes leží za
silnící - mimo historický turistický areál.
Konkrétní informace o menažerii nejsou k dispozici. Existovala možná až
do pádu dynastie Silla v roce 935 (umělý rybník i s okolím existoval
zcela jistě, ale po pádu dynastie již jen chátral). V 70. - 80. zde
proběhly vykopávky a rybník byl renovován.
King Munmu of the Silla Dynasty established a large artificial
lake Anapji (now Weolji is used, what is probably the original name)
with an area of 15,656 m2 and three islets for wild waterfowl and around
the menagerie of exotic birds and mammals. The area of Imhaejon Donggung,
where is the lake Anapa, belonged to royal palace of Banwolseong (also
Wolseong Palace) at the time of so-called Three Kingdoms of Korea and
later Unified or Later Silla, although today it is behind the road -
outside of the historic tourist resort.
Specific information about the menagerie are not available. It existed
perhaps until the fall of the Silla Dynasty in 935 (the artificial pond
with the surroundings existed certainly, but after the fall of the
dynasty, it became dilapidated). In the 1970s-1980s, an excavations took
place here and the pond was renovated.
