Akvárium Malawi se nachází na zámku v Lednici na Moravě a je umístěno v
barokní části bývalých koníren z let 1688 - 96. Projekt na tuto stavbu
vypracoval rakouský architekt Johan Bernhard Fischer z Erlachu (
1656-1723).
Otevření této expozice
předcházela rozsáhlá rekonstrukce značně zdevastovaného objektu, která
si vyžádala mnoho úsilí a finančních prostředků. Po roce od započetí
prací byla rekonstrukce spolu s instalací dokončena a Akvárium Malawi
koncem května 1993 otevřeno.
Na ploše 360m2 je umístěna
expozice akvárií o celkové kapacitě 40 000 litrů vody. V akváriích je
možno zhlédnout téměř celý vodní svět, a to Afrikou počínaje, Jižní
Amerikou a Indonésií konče. V jednotlivých nádržích lze pozorovat faunu
největších afrických jezer Malawi a Tanganjika, jihoamerické sumce nebo
dravé pirani. V mořských akváriích lze pozorovat pestrobarevný svět
mořských korálových ryb, bezobratlých živočichů, murénu, rejnoky,
smrtelně jedovaté perutýny a desítky dalších živočichů z fascinujícího
světa pod vodou. Za zmínku stojí i terárium s několika druhy vodních
želv.
Akvárium Malawi is situated in the baroque part of the late horse stable
built 1688-96) in the castle in Lednice na Moravě.
Project for this building was made by Austrian architect Johan Bernhard
from Erlach(1656-1723).
This exposition was open after large
reconstruction of very damaged building, which took a lot of work and
financial charges. Reconstruction was finished after one year of hard
work and Akvárium Malawi was open in May 1993.
Our exposition is placed on
360m2 with total capacity of 40.000 litres of water. You can see in
aquariums whole water world beginning in Africa, across South America
and Indonesia. In particular tanks is possible to watch fauna of African
lakes Malawi and Tanganyika, cat fish and piranhas from South America.
You can be fascinated by colourful world of coral fish, invertebrates,
rays, poisonous lion fish and many others animals from the ocean. There
is terrarium with some sorts of turtles in our exposition as well.
Akvárium Malawi befindet sich im Schloss in der Stadt Lednice na Moravě
im Barockflügel des Pferdestall aus Jahren 1688 - 96. Projekt für diesen
Bau schuf der Österreichische Architekt Johan Bernhard Fischer von
Erlach ( 1656-1723).
Eröffnung dieser Exposition
ging umfangreiche Rekonstruktion des merklich vernichteten Objektes
vorher, die erforderte viel Bemühung und Finanzmittel. Nach einem Jahr
seit dem Arbeitsbeginn wurde die Rekonstruktion beendet und das Malawi-aquarium
Ende Mai 1993 eröffnet.
Auf der Fläche 360m2 befindet
sich Exposition der Aquarien mit Gesamtkapazität 40 000 Liter Wasser. In
den Süsswasseraqurien ist fast die ganze Wasserwelt zu sehen. In
einzelnen Wasserbecken ist Faune der grössten Afrikaseen Malawi und
Tanganjika, südamerikanische Welse oder andere wilde Fische zu
betrachten. In den Seeaquarien ist die bunte Seewelt der Korallenfische,
Wirbellosen, Muränen, Rochen, tödlich giftigen Perutienen und Zehnen
anderen Lebewesen der fantastischen Wasserwelt zu betrachten.
